MA12 Group Project

The MA-12 transceiver is a small device with fewer than 100 components, yet it is powerful. It was developed for the MAS Contest by Peter Solf DK1HE. (MAS = Minimal Art Session). The regulations and further information can be found in the appendix. However, the device can also be used for activities such as SOTA and normal QSOs. The project was briefly presented at the QRP Party on October 26, 2013, in Schaffhausen. In the meantime, an 80m prototype has also been created to participate in the NMD (National Mountain Day).

A specific introduction to the project, including a soldering course, took place on March 1st. On the Saturdays of March 8th and 22nd, 2014, two further meetings with theory, tips, and practice took place at the Zeughaus Uster. The developer of the device, Peter Solf, gave a lecture on the MA-12 and explained its circuit in detail.
